Lami Lace
Lami Lace is a showroom designed for the client: a Lace Manufacturer and Exporter in Surat, India. The compact site, of merely 200 meters squared, sits in a tight urban fabric composed of congested streets and vicarious urban sprawl. The design cleverly juxtaposes its surrounding context by creating a quieter and more contemporary interior space. The neutral concrete interiors provide a muted background to display the client’s colourful products, whilst the glass floors and roofs allow a trajectory of natural light to flood the display rooms.
