The factory is an upcoming extension prospect for a textile manufacturer in the Industrial Zone of the city of Surat. The Simplistic brief instructed accommodating the crucial machinery for Embroidery whilst connecting to the existing built block that sets the precedent. The new factory building borrows its structural grid from the existing and also allows for longer spans to accommodate the machinery.

The Design thus facilitates a smooth workflow for the workers to deliver efficiently, along with the comfort of natural light and ventilation. The East façade opens up onto the service road allowing for the building to breathe through perforated metal screens that give it an appropriate industrial skin.
